Microsoft word 2003 BIG BIG problem

Since i am in law school almost every day i gotta write something, and after i reinstalled windows i try to print the pages i wrote and i get a window Save as, and it says save as XPS file, and when i save it i get an icon of a feather in my documents and it leads me to an internet link i cant open since i fu*** up my computer(im writing this on my phone).
I gotta print the thing tonight or am screwed.
Any help would be much much appreciated.

Have you installed the drivers for the printer. Check to see if your printer is set as the default device.
XPS files are Microsoft’s equivalent to adobe’s PDF.
