http://www.ascent.co.nz/productspecification.aspx?ItemID=351776
https://www.ascent.co.nz/productspecification.aspx?ItemID=347858
and https://www.ascent.co.nz/productspecification.aspx?ItemID=9356473
Can anyone please let me know if it is going to work? i am worried as the motherboard states that the memory speed is 800mhz but the fsb is 1333mhz so i got 1066mhz ram however on the ram specifications it states that
SPD programmed at:
– JEDEC standard 5-5-5-18 values at 800MHz
can someone please enlighten me on this.
the asus website http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?modelmenu=1&model=1474&l1=3&l2=11&l3=473 states that the mobo supports 800mhz memory howver i am unsure whether the memory will not run or just run at a slower speed. also i am unsure whether the mobo supports epp.
Thanks in advance

Answer #1
it will work, the memory will just run at 800mhz instead of 1066mhz
Answer #2
As says, it will run at 800mhz.
RAM is backward compatible.

Answer #3
Note:If you have 2 Ram thing attached to your motherboard which have different speed. The Ram with the faster clock speed will run at the clock speed of the slower Ram.
