Need help With getting the Simpsons on DVD

hey guys,
I need your help with something.
I have downloaded these splendid seasons of the Simpsons and I want to burn them to my dvd, with starting to test on season 1. The problem is that I have only a 4,7 GB dvd rom(only have five of em)
and My ripped dvd-files are about 175 MB each in “.avi format”.
I have just tried to burn them with Nero Vision but it seems that in this way I can only burn a maximum of 4 files …. so… what is the best solution? Try converting it to rmvb and then burn it?
If someone has a clever way of converting these files to a proper size but without loss of quallity… PLEASE do tell me about it. I would really appreciate it.

How meny episodes want to burn?

u should be able to burn 25 episodes if every is 175 MB
on DVD
go to nero burning rom and put them onto DVD
u did sth wrong before
its impossible u can burn only 4 episodes

Yes I know… but I do need to convert them in order to watch them on my dvd player…

I think that you can bur 2 seson…. on one DVD….

ok like I said…. I do not need to burn as a data dvd. I want to watch it on the television.
Then when I add it on Nero it says that it needs to be converted to dvd extension (i think it is called something like .vob) in order to vieuw the DVD on my DVD player.
