downloading with firefox help

August 2nd, 2016

How come I change the location to save a file on and everytime it is done, it always goes to temporary files and sometimes when i drag it out of there, the file disappears. It gets pretty annoying and sometimes I have to look all around the temporary files to find the file i saved before and they have a lot of files there. Also the only way to get to teh temporary files on my computer is to click the open folder with file thing when the download is complete on the firefox’s window. I tried retracing it but I tried every folder and cant get to temporary files

I don’t quite get what you mean. When I’m saving the downloaded files with FF to a folder I see them there. IE used to download files to the temp folder and when they were done it would move to the designated one but as far as I can tell FF saves the files to the folder and when it’s done you can use it. What location have you set to save the files to?
