Domain names

Ok well im creating a site the perfect domain type for me is taken (.com) but i could get the .org ( .net etc are taken ) should i get the .org or change the name slightly? when people see .org domains do you think they are less likely to click it than .com? bit stupid asking that here @ .orgbut ah well MERRY XMAS

No I think any top level domain looks good, but .info is the worse I think, but .org is just as good or even better than .com in some cases

I dont really wanna say it unless someone takes it because it is a good name, but its a chat community for something so i could have [namehere]talk.com or [namehere]chat.com if you understand that:P.

For an Instant Messaging website, I’d recommend going with “.net” . “.org” is also a good choice but it depends on the domain name.

Our mindset are set in such a way that .com leads all the other extensions, including .net and .org
If you ask me, go for .com instead of other extensions.
