Smartphone choice

September 26th, 2013

I am about to choose my first smartphone.
Is the best choice either a Samsung Galaxy S II or the iPhone 4S ? Is it true that the selection of apps is much smaller if you choose a phone with the Android OS ?
I have found these reviews: http://reviews.cnet.com/best-smartphones/and i must admit that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus seems very tempting.
Does anyone know if it’s worth to wait for it’s release ?
Please help with some feedback to my questions, i do not care if you are a 100 % objective or not, i would be grateful if i could get a few questions answered or just receive a little end-user feedback

Out of those 2 I would go for the Samsung because it is Android.
However, as an HTC fan myself, I would go for something like this
HTC Rezound

Go for the sgs2. If possible, wait for nexus. Dont buy the icrap.
Answer #3
I’d go for the Galaxy SII if I were you. The possibilities of customization are endless on Android and there are quality apps as well.
Answer #4
Yep,
Get an ICS phone, and
Avoid iAnything at all cost!
Answer #5
Get the Samsung S2, it’s easy to mod and you can get any app for free without jailbreaking it. It’s much more customizable too.

No they both have a lot of apps but ios apps are much higher quality. I myself have an iPhone 4 32gb for a stressfree Phone! However if your the kind of person who likes to mess around and tweal etc i would re comend you wait for the nexus

What about the sort of person that wants to add storage with a micro SD card, or have interchangeable batteries
Forgot to add these reasons earlier to avoid iPhone.
