Pc restarts automatically

My pc restarts automatically when its loading in startup screen
I can choose between start normal start with last configuration and a safe modus and couple others but it doesnt matters because they all restart when they are in the startup screen
please help me with this i really need my pc

Press F8 and um click turn off automatic shut down

what ver of windows are you using ,and did you install new software or hardware ?

no i didn’t i’m using Windows xp proffesional i had a couple of virus warnings

I believe you were using a good updated antivirus….
make yourself a Hiren boot CD ,the latest..and check for viruses through the mini xp.
but before that , make sure that your hardware is ok..change ram between slots ,power supply? ,and VGA card . you could start with this
