Will it be enough for W7 Ultimate?

August 4th, 2016

Hey guys,

The HDD will be big enough (120gb)
    1GB of DDR-400 (what’s better dualchannel(2x512MBchips) or a single 1GB module?)
Pentium 4 proc. 2.8Ghz. With HT technology?

Will it be enough for Windows 7 ultimate?
I installed Windows 7 on a netbook with a Pentium 4 proc and 1gb of Ram and it was running smooth. But I just want to be sure.
Thanks in advance!
EDIT:
I’ve installed it on the computer.
Having 1,5GB of RAM
2,8 P4 Proccessor.
Windows 7 Ultimate
And running perfectly smooth!

It should be fine….. Single channel is much bette than dual channel…. If u can put another 1 GB on the other Ram Bank…..

No, I just need 1GB and I can choose dual channel or single module And I will never gonna upgrade it.

!

Depends on your motherboard,If it supports Dual Channel then
that would be slightly better,If not then it makes no difference.

No! You need at least another GB of ram,Win7
uses approx 500MB after a fresh install alone
and it could easily max the other 500MB
when running multiple programs.
