how would i make a 696mb xvid fit onto a vcd

i really need your help, i have run out of dvd discs, but my 696mb file is too big to fit on 1 disc to make a vcd. Which software would you recommend to split if need be,recode and burn

^^ u can use the splitter to split the movie to as many parts as u want

Something free called avi2vcd, re-encodes to MPEG1 and restricts file size.
Does the encoding, but you burn with nero or something.
Comes as a zip, the decompressor (Audio) is worth getting on its own.
d/l is <1.0Mb, just google, latest version is 1.4.4
