Good luck mate ^_^
Answer #3
Your answer is no.
Answer #4
Just make sure you get a Corporate Edition as it will mean no messing around having to get patches and fixes every time you change two or three items of hardware. Whoever came up with that idea at Micro$haft should be hung drawn and quartered….I would spend an awful amount of my time on the phone to Micro$haft getting new activation codes each time I changed my hardware.Image
With a Corporate edition of Win XP that is not necessaryImage
Answer #5
No, just download he xp of your choice here and you should have no problems, it is time consuming but it would cost nothing if you have a rapidshare, and you won’t have actually go out and buy it.
Answer #6
As said above, no you won’t have to. ROFFL

Answer #7
you already have XP installed ? and legal ?
you have a product key (serial number) ?
if your legal & have a number install the new parts and do a repair install that will configure windows with new hardware, then just call MS to activate it before 30 days is up
and backup all important data before you do the swap
FYI: Braindamage (I think it was anyway) post a reply saying that if you uninstall all under hard drive controllers in device mgr that windows will boot with new hardware and install the generic controller
you might try this and do the repair install if it dun’t work
Answer #8
If you meant that you would have to get windows xp in your hard drive again then its a yes, because you have to format the HDD and do a brand new install of your OS.
