mouse + music stuttering problem

Hello guys , this issue is making me nuts , its been a year i am formatting my hard drive and so far i ‘ve done it like 20 times . Here is the problem : after a clean install of windows xp my sound and my mouse keeps stuttering when it loads some programs like firefox,IE,office etc . Tried with full updated xp and still problem occurs , tried now with no updates and still occurs . Tried disabling start-up ,changing pio to dam (or dma ) , uninstalling KIS , nothing at all .
Recently i partitioned my hard drive to win7 and windows xp ( my win7 works perfectly ) whereas my xp still have this stutter issues .
If anyone knows something about it please help .

i hope you didn’t forget the chipset drivers?
Could you post your system specs please?

no everything installed ( i guess ) will check in a while .
specs :
cpu : core 2 duo e6600 mobo : asrock ConRoe1333-D667 R1.0 Intel� 945GC A2 Chipset
gpu : GTS250 nvidia os : windows xp sp2 RAM : 2gb ocz gold series

install service pack 3 of windows xp..
always double check if you installed all the needed drivers..

already did . same problem with fully updated windows xp .

what drivers did you use? The ones of asrock?
For sure it is a driver issue cause windows 7 uses the same hardware with other drivers…
for your sound card go to realtek and download the driver there (it is version 2.40 and the ones on asrock site are version 1.47….)
Also for all drivers do not take them from asrock but from intel, realtek etc…
