What would help me more?

So, I’ve come to the realization that my ~love~ graphic card (NVidia 8400GS) can at least turn on any game I throw at it. But it slows down when things get too intense for it.
So I can either;
– Buy a stick of ram (Probably 4 gig or 8 gig)
– Buy a Graphic Card (In which case I’ll have to buy a new PSU first)
What should I do?
For Example, dead rising 2. My Graphic card does good but slows down when I’m outside of the mall and theres 5 billion zombies. Should I stick with RAM to speed it up?
Also, I am running x64

More ram better performances New GPU same amount of ram … well nothing will change ( except graphics, you won’t get speed )

Most disagree with you, I do think that the Graphic card also makes your system faster.
For example if it’s an old pc with some damn old GPU chip you will deff. see an improvement.
But anyways the topic starter should post his amount of ram and GPU if it’s an upgrade.

8400GS sucks for gaming upgrade to a GTX460/GTX260/9600GT or better
more ram won’t really help game performance but it might improve load times if you have under a gig
