It’s probably because your ISP provides the same IP adress for most of the users. There is nothing you can do about it – just refresh the page and you’ll probably get some downloads time after time! That happens to me too, and it’s too frustrating. :S

Dont even have a modem x_x … its a PPPOE dialup connection >.<

hi well this used to happen with me when i was using my phone as a dialup modem.Seems like that type of connection usually uses the same ip for everyone on that type of connection…..but once i upgraded to premium account all that stopped..So according to u are better off upgrading to broadband which is what I did…

it is because you probably inherited a IP that someone has been using.

how do you connect to internet? using a dial up modem, or LAN?

so that was it. you are using a dynamic ip. that is why rs messages already downloading a file is because many uses dynamic ip that rs detects.

i see, and you dial using a user name and a password. try setting an IP manually and see if it will connect, if it does connect change your ip everytime you want.
you can set this from the properties of the connection.

I get this with my 3g connection, real pita as it stops me grabbing stuff while i’m away from home. The speed is good but this IP thing is a problem.
