strange battle stations pacific fould

hi, i downloaded battle stations pacific, installed it and tried to play it.
windows gives me the fould that i’m missing xlive.ddl en msidc40.dll, so i downloand those dll files en fired it up again. so the game startes but when i should see an menu, i ownly see an background image. that was on win 7.
I alsow tried it on my old computer with win xp and there I get no problems, even nog .dll foulds… does anywone know why?

Works on XP, not on 7.

Some games just won’t work with Windows 7.
Try to run it in XP compatibility mode.
