Is your burner flashed with LT MAX?

No it’s not, I,ve read a few differing instructions regarding this, I have been told that I should just be able to burn the game using any unmodified drive as long as I followed the guide to burning xgd3 games in imgburn which I have done, but like I said I have heard a few people say in order to burn it I need to buy a certain hitachi drive and modify it with this lt max u referred to, I would be very grateful if you could clarify which is the correct process and thanks for you assistance.
Lite On, not Hitachi…and yes, you can burn an XGD3 image without LT MAX, but it’s not safe for XBL.

I have a lite on drive in my Xbox flashed with lt2.0, so now I need to buy a lite on drive for my pc to burn the game? Also I don’t use xbl so I’m not too worried about it being safe for online play

If you don’t use LT MAX, and burn it with a normal burner, it’s possible that the game will not run or crash after a period of gameplay. Don’t know if MW3 uses the outerpart of the DVD for gameplay data.
Nevertheless you should be able to burn the game with Imgburn, select truncate in the options and just click continue on every error you get.

I know this can happen if you’re not using verbatims…
other than that, I’m not sure…
Happened top me a couple times, but I just updated imgburn and bought a burnermax compatible LT drive. Works every time now
i just got a ihas liteon drive off ebay for £15 new, worth buying one, order one now, some sellers has sold over a thousand items
you need to buy one of the liteon ihas drives [must be model b drive] they are avaliable everywhere and are cheap under £20/$20. Then flash the drive with the f/w provided for burning and u can then burn new xbox 360 games[XGD3 format games]
Drives listed below-
Liteon iHAS124B = baseline model
Liteon iHAS-224B = 124 + LightScribe
Liteon iHAS-324B = 124 + SmartErase
Liteon iHAS-424B = 124 + LightScribe + SmartErase (or = 224 + SmartErase)
Liteon iHAS-524B = 124 + LabelTag + SmartErase
Liteon iHAS-624B = 124 + LabelTag + LightScribe + SmartErase (or = 524 + LightScribe)
any of those drives will work just make sure when u buy it that it has the B at the end.
normal drives wont burn 100% of the game data u have to buy the ihas drive and flash it with the LT Max f/w.

How can we burn XGD3 games with a regular dvd writer as good as possible?
I know it wont be a 100% succesful burning, but im only gonna play ME3, i very rarely even turn the machine on.. Could you enlighten us?
I heard somewhere that yo have to truncate the games, but have no idea how?
