Best program for creating a professional photo album?

I have hundreds of pictures stored on my computer from a 12 megapixel Sony digital camera. Is there any professional program that can turn the photos into slideshows DVD complete with music, transitions, captions and stunning effects? I want to create a professional photo album with one of the top programs out there. Can anyone please help me with this? Thank you so much.

You mean something like Windows Movie Maker, but more difficult and with more options?

erm try ad moive creater like windows or so, then just simpply keep adding the pictures, because a video is just lots of pictures, so each picture you put in would be like the frame. try sony vegas pro for a good moive maker or just use windwos and try it out by just adding images.
