Call of duty modern warfare 3 STEAM OR DVD

I am planning to buy call of duty modern warfare 3 i am asking which best to buy the steam version or the Retail version?(which of this have the most players online?)

I believe that MW3 uses SteamWorks (Steams DRM, requiring Steam to be used and activated). So it all depends on what you want/cheapest and whether physical media is important to you.

retail and steam is the same thing
at steam you get the serial and you have to download the game.
while with retail you get the cd and the serial.
so which ever you prefer really.
i think its normally cheaper from steam.
but not 100% sure
