What happens to the Rapidshare premium link if…?

But what happens when the account of the premium member expires? Will the premium link still be hosted forever, or follows back how free links work?

No limit. Nevertheless even we have to clean up our drives from time to time, so we will delete files that have not been accessed for 90 days or longer. For premium users this rule will only apply if there are more than 20 GB (20.000.000.000 bytes) of data stored in your account.

Rapidshare doesn’t say whether the premium link will still be “premium” afterward.

Like I said, if an account expires and is deleted (happens 30 days after expiration) and a file isn’t downloaded any more the file is deleted after 90 days. It means that if your file is downloaded at least once every 90 days after the deletion of the account it should stay the same. Good luck mate ^_^
