PowerISO Burning Failed. Tried multiple speeds.

October 10th, 2022

I have the XP dark before SP3 rebuild, and I obviously have burned a bootable ISO before. I can’t remember which program I used though. I looked around and everywhere was saying PowerISO is good for burning ISOs, so I downloaded it and everything.
Anyways I finished downloading the Dark SP3 rebuild from here

I extracted it , and when I try to burn the ISO with PowerISO 4.3, after it goes through the whole burning process, at the very end it says Burning failed (-180 blahblah). I tried twice, once at 16x speed and once at 8x speed. The same thing happened both times. Here’s a screen cap.

I tried searching google and all I could find was people getting a 109 error trying to burn DVDs. Any help would be very much appreciated.

I actually think that’s what I used the first time. You’re a God send! haha.
If anyone else sees this, post your ideas anyway just incaseee.

New info. I left the cd in my drive because I was too lazy to take it out, and this morning I restarted my pc, and the “Press any key to boot from CD” option came up before it booted up. Does that mean the CD is ok regardless of what Poweriso said at the end? It did get to 100% before the failure after all.
