Convert Movies To High Definition

Is there any software that convert any movie to High Definition Quality? And can convert them to like 720p 1080p HD movies?

It will only waste time and space. You can’t make something better than it originally is. It would just upscale it and add loads of more pixel data to the existing video, only adding size, but not quality. You need to get HD material in the first place.

Thats not true, there is films out eg. the shineing, braveheart, back to the fture and they have been coverted to HD so there must be a way.

real High Definition = source
Conversion will never give u any kind of effect- u can encode to mkv or some other HD format but quality remains same and size increases…

Thts right u cant convert a low quality source into a HQ rip, U’ll need a HQ source like a blu-ray or HD to rip them to 720 and 1080p mkv’s

Yes of course. But they have been made from the original film reels in a professional studio HD movies are not just converted from regular DVD movies.
If you convert a redular DVD, of course you will get a 720p / 1080p format film, but it will look the same as watching a normal DVD scaled to the screen.
Like this, here is a real 1080p source:
And here is one that is converted from DVD resolution to 1080p, same size but much worse quality
So you do need a real HD source for HD quality
