stupid computer problem

me neither :p
can you post some specs
did you do something different(installed a program, played a new game, made some hardware changes?)
hmmmmmm , NO !
wel it could be a hardware component that’s failing due to dus or overheating
maybe you should open up your pc and clean it, remove all the dust maybe that will help
my comuter is 1.80 cpu , 512 ram , 80gb HD
ok , i will !! but dont tell me it is a virus because i have Kaspersky 2009 Updated !
since when has that been happening? if it happened recently for the first time, try system restore
i think ur system is not capable of Kaspersky 2009!Try another AV like NAV 2009 or Nod32!i am saying like that because ur system looks like ancient!
Respect!
hay , i have dual cpu 1.80 x2 and 512
Most anti-viruses will cripple a machine with 512MB ram. The main culprits being Norton, Kaspersky and McAffee.
I would use less of a resource-hog AV such as nod32 or avast!.
Ideally, you should have 1GB in that machine anyway. No doubt you are on XP which needs 512MB ram to run smooth anyway. Definitely upgrade to 1GB if you can, it would make a HUGE performance increase.
is kapersky a recent addition or has it been there for a while? Could be other factors though. Can you say if anything new has happened before it started freezing like new software, hardware etc?
Is it completely freezing or occasionally just stopping? If it’s the first one, it could be hundreds of things. If it’s the second one, it could be that Kaspersky is too much for your system. Get some more RAM and see if that helps. RAM is dirt cheap these days.
