Try it..you have nothing to lose..It takes a few seconds..If it doesn’t fit the burning software will let you know..
Answer #2
Yes,It’d fit just fine.
If you never burned ISOs before,Do know that your suppose to burn em as image and not data,Imgburn
is the best app for the job (use the “write image file to disc” option)
Answer #3
Let’s break this down
4.7 Gigabytes
1 Gigabyte = 1,000,000,000 bytes
1 Gibibyte = 1,073,741,824 bytes
Computers calculate storage in Gibibytes while storage manufacturers use Gigabytes. If we do the math:
(4.7 x 1,000,000,000) / 1,073,741,824
It results in roughly 4.38 Gibibytes of data meaning if your computer says the file is less than 4.38 GB, it will fit.
Answer #4
4.2 < 4.7, so yes, it will fit.
Answer #5
4.37 GB is maximum, as said above. Dont even try 4.39. I think when it jumps from 4.37 to 4.38 its not possibe anymore.
Personally i hate that, its like you buy a harddrive, it says 500 GB, and you have like 450 GB or something.
Answer #6
Depends on the lead in and lead out and I’m not sure how much (if any) space that takes up.

Answer #8
When you’re dealing with a data disc it pretty much is that simple.

Answer #10
Yes, a disk is only 4.38 GB in computer language.
Same rules apply to hard drives etc..
Answer #11
@gopey – it will be fine, use IMGburn as Roberto mentioned.
I had a similar convo in another thread with Roberto yesterday. After he worked it out, he came to similar figure as -paroxysM^.
I have never been able to get more than 4.36 GB onto a data disc, dunno what you are doing Dawe80 ?
Answer #12
4.37 GB always worked for me. Years ago i used Nero and it worked, then recently inbuilt Win7 burner and also worked.

Btw, important question,
Does Win7 burner notify you on it cutting names?
Like, i burned a folder with drivers, Win7 just burned it, i did not check disc afterwards.
Burning same thing with different program it told me that it cuts names because they were too long.
So i figured better pack those files.
But dont know about inbuilt burner.
