Help me RECOVER my IPOD

August 5th, 2016

i hadn’t been home for a long time and my sister had accessed my computer during those days. Yesterday, i came back and checked it if anything was wrong.
I pluged my ipod, opened Internet Explorer and double click at the ipod device when suddenly the an message said something i didn’t know 0000..something.
I unpluged my iPod and it couldn’t work anymore.
It said
in English
“Connect to computer and use iTunes to restore”
and in German, Korean and French.
I did but iTunes wouldn’t recognize it.
Now it keeps saying that i need too use iTunes to restore it. When i plug it into my computer again, a message appears and ask me to restore it. Then iTunes appears but it doesn’t do anything. I can’t even see my ipod in iTunes.
My computer does recognize it as a removeable device but iTunes doesn’t.
It’s a Fifth Gen Video Ipod and the capacity is 30GB.
I couldn’t access other partions like C: D: E: so i had to re-install everything, windows, soft, etc, this morning Now i’m exhausted in finding the way to revive my iPOd.
I hate my sis

Answer #2
well, i did the first step as the article told to stop and restart ipod service.
My ipod was restored by iTunes as it recognized it once, then it restored my ipod.
Itunes told me not to disconnect the cable when ipod is restarting. Sure, i didn’t disconnect the cable
After restoring, ipod restarted and Nothing happened.
Should i throw it away ? I’m tired of reviving it. It cost me a lot of time.
I’ll have to leave my house to my school where there isn’t any internet next 2 days.
Anyways, thanks for the Guide.
If you have any ideas, please tell me !!

Yeah i have an idea, one more. You have to get the ipod to thing called-DISK MODE.
when i tried to restore like a 3-4 times and the ipod still hasnt worked i put it in to the DISK MODE and then i restored the ipod via the itunes, after that- i restarted again the ipod and the restore worked and the ipod worked and recognized by the computer and itunes.
you put the ipod in disk mode by this-http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93651
IF YOU GOT MORE QUESTION JUST CONNECT TO MY MSN-2005@hotmail.co.il
