Two pictures on one display picture

August 6th, 2016

I think my girlfriend wants me and her, on one Display Picture. Like me at top, her at bottom with like a diagonal line splitting them, or me right she left.
Any ideas how to do this in Photoshop CS2.

1. begin with two pictures of roughly the same size.
2. In the layer palette, click the create new layer mask button.
3. apply a black-to-white gradient to the layer mask. This will create a smooth blend between the layers. Press the D key to reset the foreground and background colors to black and white.
4. choose the gradient tool from the toolbox, and set the options to foreground to background and linear.
5. Starting at the top-left corner of the image, click and hold down the left mouse button and drag diagonally to the bottom-right corner of the image.
6. Release the mouse button and a gradient will be created in the mask, resulting in a smooth blend of images
7. Choose a large soft brush – a 100 pixel brush will work. Make the foreground layer to white. (make sure the layer mask is selected, and begin to paint around)
8. Choose 30 percent and begin to paint our part of the top layer.
GOOD LUCK MATE!
