XP admin password recovery

Does anyone know how to recover a admin password in xp, im trying to get one of my old computers up and running so i can access some files, but I can remeber the password for the user.

You can’t recover the password but you can reset it and set another one once you back in windows…
You can use Hiren’s BootCD>Password Tools>Active Password Changer…

or use offline nt password registry editor to reset it link : home.eunet.no/pnordahl/ntpasswd/
