CLI, which stands for command line interface, is often called command prompt. CLI allows the end user to use commands such as “del” instead of the more commonly used GUI. Most command prompts began with C:\ which is the default letter for the local disk. CLI allows for faster, easier, and more extensive use of a computer. Do it yourself next time.
