no sound o my laptop.

hello guys i have a laptop and something had cause it to have no sound. At morning i had sound but then now. I had uninstall some programs but i think that i didn’t uninstall any driver. do you have any suggestions in order to check what’s the problem?

go to control panel and choose your sound device as default, play some Windows media samples to try that that out.
update your drivers ( i use driver genious)
Go to control panel to see if you didnt mute it
Go to device manager and check your audio devices to ssee if they exist or check for problems. If all else fails try to roll them back.
When in DOUBT use sytem Restore

you mean that there tah says voice to choose it and then at device default?

in sounds and audion go in the “Audio” tab and choose the sound playback.

also guys how can i found out what drivers does my laptop support? Also if i need any other software to install

What is your laptop model mate? According to that you can find the sound driver that you need

There are an awful lot of HP models out there, you need to be more specific. Go to view system information in my computer and list some parts, maybe you can google them to pinpoint your laptop model.
