Internet download man help

Hey, i accidentally updated my patch and it screwed up everything, so i fully uninstalled and then re-downloaded and re-installed the same one
Thing is, now it downloads rar files from rapidshare as HTML files, and i can’t get the destination to dl correctly either, now there is a stupid folder on my desktop which i am unable to delete. the IDM i downloaded was from:
http://www.google.com?t=2422526&highlight=
it used to work perfectly before now its screwed up..
SO i just want to know why it wont dl rapidshare files as .rar instead of .html
i dont no how to turn direct download my rapidshare account, but i didnt do it before and it worked. ive put in my login dets on the idm for my rapidshare too.

Moved from Graphics help to Helpdesk.

You need to switch on the direct download option in your RS premium account
And it saves the files as .html if the links are dead….so check the links before downloading

In most cases the .html files are dead links, but sometimes they are the file itself (as in a 100Mb .html file) which you just open up in winrar and extract, happens to me sometimes, but I got no idea how to fix it
