Winrar extracting problem

Hi guys need a solution, i downloaded a blu ray version of charlie and the chocolate factory. 10 links and the total size is 8gb. I have all the rar files on my pc. Anyway when i go to extract it my pc just go mad, its start lagging. I have a decent computer which runs quite good, hard drive is 320gb n memory is 3gb ram. Any help?
