cant open AVI files

when i open AVI film the Media Player Classic close by him self and cant play any film !

did you uninstall MPC before re-installing?
if you didnt then you should redo the whole thing

VLC is excellent,kmplayer too

or u can try Mega Lite Codec ( google it , its free) This codec is a good built-in one for WPC.
