Ukash Virus

August 7th, 2016

Im trying to fix a windows xp machine that has been infected with the Ukash Virus. I have been trying to use this tutorial
http://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-ukash-virus/
However, when I get as far as typing in cd restore, the patch is wrong and I do not know how to change it. The path that comes up in Command Prompt is c:\documents and settings\administrator, and not c\windows\system32> as stated in the tutorial. How do I change the path?
There is another tutorial Ive found that you can use safe mode with networking BUT the link that takes you to the virus removal program, you need to register first, which will prob cost money.
Any help with this will be very much appreciated, as it always is of course

Answer #1
Just type cd c:\windows\system32
cd is the command to change the directory, you just type cd *Directory address/location here* and it will change to it.
