Well, sometime I use Hotspot shield to unblock some sites by connected to random server location
Anyone got any suggestions?
Yeah, Either stick to downloading from hosts that are good for free users (Such as putlocker/180upload/hugefiles/billionuploads/zippyshare) or buy an account on a multi-premium service (Such as real-debrid/rpnet) so you wouldn’t have this problem!
I’ve also used Hotspot Shield free edition. Download once then switch it off with the icon on the tool bar, turn it back on for a new IP address.
The easier way, short of paying for an account, is to find a couple of free premium link gens in the Link Heaven and Services & Giveaways sections.
It’s more about how much you’re looking to download and how much aggravation you’re willing to put up with.
I haven’t tried the premium link generators yet because I didn’t think they really worked.
The reason that I’m against paying for sites is because I bought a membership to rapidshare and after about a month and a half it stopped working. I tried numerous times first to reset my password, then to contact them about the problem and never received any response. So I lost over a months worth of service.
Well, there is no such thing as IP hiding software. It requires you to proxy through another server, and use that server’s IP. That is why this service is not free, and if it is, it really sucks.

You’re sure that you’re getting a new IP address, right? You can verify this by visiting:
http://www.whatismyip.com/
Else, try clearing out your browser cache or using Incognito/Private Browsing mode along with the software that you tried
