PC Dead Rising 2 ingame performance help.

Hey guys. Can’t believe I’m actually asking for help but here goes lol.
Does anyone have any solution in settings wise to get this game running at optimal performance? Running the latest WHQL Nvidia drivers aswell.

4gig Black dragon 1333
AMD phenom X6 1055t
All my other games work flawless like BO/Crysis and so on.

I have a q6600, 4G corasir, GTX460 Golden, and it runs DR2 perfectly on all maxed settings.
Maybe it’s a 6 core issue, or an amd issue??

Thanks for your responce bud. Guess I’ll have to look deep into this, and check up if it is a AMD problem.

At a guess, I’d try the 6 core side first.. maybe it doesn’t play nicely with >4 cores (some old games are the same for 4 cores, not playing nice with >1 or 2).

Well I solved it slightly. I changed my audio to 24/44.1, and that has given me better FPS. Now i’m looking around to see if anyone else has issue’s with AMD and this game.
