Front panel audio

Alright so i have a DG35EC from Intel , and my front jack hasn’t been working for a long time. My comp guy said i have to change cabinets as the wiring was shot. .And the cabinet was shitty so i changed to a CoolerMaster. But the front panel audio doesn’t work . I use realtek drivers[ they suck]. USB works fine. But speaker seems to take up both the ports

I have searched and searched and searched .. all in vain

Are the front panel jacks connected to the motherboard as per the mobo manual?.check carefully.

Turns out my comp guy had not done so. And the front audio was unplugged. 2 hours ago , i called him and asked if he had done something , he admitted that he didnt connect the front panel because of “problems” . Then i got furious and hung up. So simple. When i asked how can i connect it ? He says “We have to do it ourselves”. I did it in 5 minutes.. Anyways Thanks
