What do I need to block to keep IDM from finding a bad serial number? It works for a while then I get an error that I have a fake serial number. I’m not sure what to block due to the fact it has to access the internet. This is on my laptop with windows 7. Have never had a problem on my other pc with vesta. Thanks for any help.

I use portable version and never had a problem.

Uninstall it first, then open your registry find IDM values delete it. If your’e serious with it. PM me ill try to brief the steps

Uninstall IDM using IObit Uninstaller.
Do not reboot after uninstallation. Do “Powerful Scan” and delete all registry values, files and folders of IDM
Reboot.

[P.S: If you want to register IDM on you name , right click the registry file(in crack folder) and select “Edit” option.
Change the “FName” and “LName”. Don’t change serial or email.]
I never get any update pop-up or serial no. geting blocked..
