Problem With 3D Movie

I wanted to watch a 3D movie on a new Philips 3D TV.
I downloaded a side – by – side movie (it�s in the .mp4 format) and put it on a USB, but I can�t choose the 3D option in the menu. What can I do in order to get it work ?

nope you need to convert it or use an extern player

Is there a 3d button on your remote? I play sbs videos on my Samsung 3d tv. And It plays side by side until I hit the 3d button on remote, then it combines the image. Has nothing to do with video format

Google your model of TV asking if you can do 3D from USB..
or post here and we can try and find some info.
