Phone Contacts on Sim

My dad has just got a note 3 and his contacts are stuck on his s3 mini sim card bear in mind both are seperate contracts and are still in use
Is there a fast and easy way to copy them onto an sd then easily import them on his new phone
Is there any apps that can do this
