Stream From PC TO Amazon Fire Stick

August 5th, 2016

I have installed Kodi on my Fire Stick & it can run streams. I am experiencing alot of buffering, this is on both SD & HD. I’ve pin pointed this to the wireless signal being poor. I’ve run Kodi on a wired desktop & the same streams play in SD & HD with no buffering at all.
Is there any way i can watch what’s is running on the desktop upstairs, on my Fire Stck downstairs. I’m assuming if i can do this i would’nt have the buffering problems.

Not sure but I’m running Kodi on wireless..Tried the cable before but didn’t make no difference..
If I get a lot of buffering I just close it and try a different stream..That fixes it most of the time..

I’m assuming you are running Kodi on a Android box. I was thinking of buying 1 of these as i could have used a wired connection. It seems some users get poor WIFI signal using the Fire Stick of which i’m 1. I’m hoping to avoid the expense of having to buy an Android box.

I did buy An Android box..I found it too slow..
Answer #4
I have a wireless laptop too which has the same problem. I’d guess it’s due to the crappy router from my ISP.
Answer #5
What router do you have?
A repeater or a good router may be the solution.
Be aware that good routers may not be modems.
