psn account banned/temporarily disabled after fifa coins scam

morning all was hoping some of you would have some advice regarding my annoying issue.
had a purchase made for £60 worth of fifa coins on my psn account yesterday (i dont own and have never played fifa on either my ps4 or psn account) now i did the usual stuff afterwards .. contacted my bank, paypal (as paypal was my payment option on psn) and sony regarding the issue and im assuming paypal sorted it as i got the cash back within the day but now my psn account is banned. i am intending to ring sony when it opens at 10:30 but thought id msg to see if anyone else has had these issues and how to resolve them quickly

Id say your computer you use to access it has a virus that has stolen your login details (such as a keylogger..), or they some one who new your login name and guessed the password??… I presume if what you stated is correct, both the psn account login info as well as paypal?? Scan comp for virus, and malware, as well as afterwards change the update the passwords as well as any other passwords that could be have been compromised..

pc is fine did all scans ect straight after it happened .. didnt think it would be because of that anyway as never used psn stuff on there.
spoke to sony an they forwarded it on to billing dept who dont have a phone apparently or external email so cant contact them to speed it up.
long story shortened if you want cash back on this type of thing quick go thru paypal but your psn acc WILL get banned temporarilly for about a week, if you can deal with less cash for 7-30 days and dont want a banned psn go thru sony.. funny that a suggestion they gave was buying top up cards for psn to clear the outstanding balance to reopen acc, how do they expect me to add said top ups to acc if i cant login to it

As stated, if some one did what you stated, they must have known both usernames as well as passwords.. I have game accounts I have used which I have to log into and then pay through paypal, which again has to be logged into… As stated you have a keylogger on your system, or use a “standard” log in user name and password for each site some one guessed… Unless any one else can give you a better idea I would be irritable on using your local PC…
