Will my steam account get banned if I used smartsteam?

Lately I’ve been playing Red Orchestra, Dungeon Siege 3 and Dead Island through using Smartsteam, but I’ve been logging onto my legit account, its been over a week, will I get banned?
I remember over a year ago playing cracked version of call of duty modern warfare 2 via steam, but haven’t been banned. Is using smartsteam with your legit account risky?

I know, but I was lazy lol. So is any likely I would get banned?
Cause I did ask an uploader by the name of I AM AWESOME, if I would get banned for using Smartsteam and was told I wouldn’t but I want to clarify it.

u risk ban yes , it is written in the agreement of steam .. also you HIGHLY risk ban for the following reasons : using reported stolen keys , Sharing account ( i’ve been banned for this … thank god had only hl + mods, hl2 and source games in that account back in the 2004),CHEATING (HIGH RISK OF BAN). anything that violates the valve agreement gets u stuffed! thats why back in the days no one liked steam (also coz cs 1.6 , first steam game, really sucked hard and was slow and pingy compared to 1.5=) )

Yea I hate steam so much, but I was wanting to buy a copy of Red Orchestra 2 from a cdkey site, but Red Orchestra only runs via steam , but I am worried id even get banned for doing that. :/

make a new account. theres a method to get a games key that you can use on steam so you can add people.

well if u end up banned, dont come complaining its entirely your own fault.
