Answer #1
This Sometimes happens with Certain DVD’s.
Region Issue or sometimes FW issue.
Nothing to worry about. Fix would be upgrading to latest firmware.
OR
IF this is happening to DVD’s which XBOX would read earlier, Then you would have to worry about Hardware issues.

I had the same problem, it is $90 to get it repaired. To get around this I just wrapped in a blanket to heat it up and red light it. I sent to them and it came back in working order.

I’ve heard that this problem can be solved by opening up the xbox and cleaning the laser lens. Might as well give it a try before settling for a new one and if nothing else works…

fixing it yourself can be hard, the xbox dvd drive breaks all the time.
microsoft charges $100 to fix this error.
you cant just open a xbox easily, they have tools to open the xbox they are cheap.
the really hard part about fixing a xbox dvd drive is that you, cant just swap it, there is a key on the drive which you must copy to your replacement dvd drive. so you have to open up your pc and connect the sata cables to your pc and run the program to copy the key from your old broken xbox dvd drive, and then connect the new one you want to use and copy your old dvd key to your new dvd drive.
if you know what you are doing, you can do the repair yourself for under $30. (mostly the cost of a new xbox dvd drive)
