XBOX 360 MODDING.

January 25th, 2020

Hey everyone I am going to buy an XBOX 360 Elite soon and I am thinking of modding it but I do not really know the risks. Can Anyone help me out? Will I get banned form XBOX LIVE? Which one is better Soft modding (I think this is Firmware Updating) or Hard Modding (Mod Chips). All help would be appreciated.

Ugh. Look up this on google next time.
Without real computer skill, you will not be able to mod it. It will also void your warranty. Also flash your xbox, do not use a chip. If you do succeed in getting it flashed, there is always a chance from getting banned on live.
Like I said, it’s not too easy for inexperienced people. Do not do it, if you have no idea what you are doing.

Hey I already soft modded my wii does that count as experience? I never got banned from the wii network. How hard could it be? Any links to a good tutorial I have been looking with google but I am not 100% sure which to use.

Unfortunately not mate. You would have to receive your console and see what drive you have before I can lead you to a tutorial.
Plus, you need to have a sata chipset on your motherboard, and in some cases depending on the drive you need to buy a via6421 chipset.

Exactly, its the drive that gets modded not the console. Currently most newer drives include the Lite-on which requires a little more skill to flash.
