Wireless Router and DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem recommendations

I have charter cable internet 30meg servive with 3 computers, wireless printer and now kindlefire online. Would like to buy a decent router and maybe DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem to replace the rented DOCSIS 2.0 Cable Modem from charter cable.

Motorola makes the best DOCSIS stuff. Period. Get a router capable of Tomato such as the ASUS RT-N16. I have an SB6121 paired with an N16.

Many charter users have the 6120 or the 6121. But charter does not
update very often. You will be happy with 6120
