To catch wifi signal, what should i buy? A wireless modem ? or a wifi router?
Does the broadband connection have a modem for it yet? If not, you will need a wireless modem for it. You dont have to get on from your ISP, any wireless modem will do but make sure that its for your connection type (Don’t bother getting a wireless ADSL 1 modem for an ADSL 2+ connection etc). You will also need a wireless adapter to catch the wireless signal. Get a PCI slot one since they are faster than the usb ones.
You need a wireless adapter to catch wifi.

Answer #4
Wireless routers only split the connection to more PC’s (more than a modem can handle), it wont be able to connect to your broadband connection.
Yes, if you dont have a wireless modem already. If you do, you just need the adapter

Whats your total budget? I’ll see if theres any better modems out there. Also the adapter you picked won’t work. Its for bluetooth devices, not wireless signals.
