Also should i choose win 7 or win 8 as OS??
Thanks
Whoa Kimosabi…
None of the above really…
They are all using integrated graphics…No ‘real’ card amongst them.
OK for lots of things but not serious gaming!
Look into getting or building a rig with an i5 or decent Fx CPU.
The add a half decent GPU and you will be in business.
I would go for Win7 but whatever you want we can help ,you with that around here on
What is your budget, then we can suggest
ah many thanks for the reply.im not a serious gamer..its for my son he like to play things like fifa 14 and the shooters.. which i know are cpu intensive,.im glad i asked…i thought they were very cheap..i only have a budget of about 350 so i guess thats me out of the race for a half decent computer..we have had this comp 6 years now and it struggles to play anything in the last 4 years.
Thanks
If you can stretch your budget a bit, you can build a decent gaming PC for around $500:

That has a HD 8670, it isn’t much, but it should be capable of handling all games currently released.
But honestly, the motherboard is pretty garbage.
Your right, their scrimping on the motherboard.Don’t even have USB3!
For a half decent APU like above or the A10 6800k you would expect an A85 or at least an A75 chipset.
I have been over to this site and put some things together but i have no idea if it would be decent http://www.novatech.co.uk
im at 314 at the moment..got 350 budget now..any good?? What am i missing??
The motherboard is not the right type for the CPU.
You need an AM3+ board..Look here..

You don’t need anything too expensive.
Quite a well matched system, but you may have to stretch the budget for a case and a good quality PSU of around 500Watts..
Still, you should be able to build a better system than you could buy for the price..
This PSU not the cheapest but decent specs for the price..

Here’s a fancy looking case if you like that sort of thing.

You could pick from this range of mobos, probably the MSI or the GB. as they both have 4 x USB3.

You could up yor ram speed a bit…AMD likes fast ram!

Now if you be really scrimping then I guess you could buy a case that comes with a basic 500W power supply
would would be pretty much what they use on those built up ones you were looking at
Thanks for the advice..im such a novice

It would be stupid to go with that CPU from the video instead of a AMD FX 6300 which is quite better and only a tad more expensive in my opinion, especially if you’re gonna use the PC for gaming.
