What Is The Best Low Budget Printer With The Cheapest Cartridges
January 30th, 2020
Cartridges are never cheap no matter which printer you buy! Ink always costs a fortune!
But I found that HP OfficeJet 4500 uses less ink and lasts me longer.
Definately cost effective even though you only get a extra 100 printed pages for the ink cost
Use CISS ink, with proper refillable/resettable cartridges. It works out expensive to begin, then cheaper than compatible cartridges. Or, you can get a CISS unit to fit the printer, each ink holds 100ml.
No idea in the US, but I get from here (will give you an idea what I mean)

I have no idea of cheap printers as I use 4 in 1 Epson’s at work and home. You don’t say what you want to print, paper/cd’s/heavy card etc ?
To print photos, it is best to buy a proper photo printer. I am using an old HP Photosmart 7960 – better quality than from the developing shop.
The printer to get is the one you can get cheap cartridges for on eBay and such like. ( less than $2 a cartridge).
Epson are usually good for this.
So if you like a particular printer, Look for the price and availability of cartridges for it !
Nothing beats them laser printers.
Toner works out to be cheaper and there is aftermarket toners.
You will get way more prints and there is no ink to dry out.
