vista says its connected but won’t access internet

hi all,
my deaktop has a PCI wireless card installed, it was working fine untill i accidently uninstalled the driver. The driver is now re-installed (i am %100 sure that it is the correct driver), it says that it is connected fine (sometimes says local access only) but it wont access the internet.
i have come across this b4 when it was norton causing the problem, but i defo dont have anything made by norton on my system.
any help and i would be very very greatful

Remove/delete the existing connection…Right click again and go on connect…Select your connection and type in the password…Big chance that this will work…Well worth a shot…

what do u mean Remove/delete the connecting, how do i do this??

Click the flag, then network connections or just connections then right click over the wireless one, properties, then click Wireless Networks and remove your current network from the list. Then disable, re-enabled the adapter then try again.

i have tried this and no luck any other ideas?

upgrade to sp2 then reconect sp 2 solve that tipe of problems

i have SP2, and i cannot re-instal it again unfortunatly:(

try to reinstall your wireless card , and creat all connection from begin

Reset your router and start again, Always the easiest way.
