Using the system recovery drive?

February 4th, 2020

Friend gave me his laptop so I could remove the viruses, but it is full of viruses and spyware. He said he does not need anything on it so I figured I would just go the easy route and use the “system recovery” which is located on the D: drive.
So I am guessing just boot to the D: drive and it will restore everything to original settings? It is a HP vision laptop with windows 8.

Well if you already have Windows 7 on the recovery, it should install OK with the same license, I would think..
If not , just run Windows loader after Win 7 is installed..

After that you can reboot and go here to validate Windows as genuine (use internet explorer)

You can stay legit by doing the recovery..
Normally The recovery partition don’t get effected by viruses as it’d hidden..
But is right..If your Laptop comes with Win7..Then the loader will only install the key and the certificates and your windows will be ligit..
There..You have 2 options now…
