URGENT! Sending credit card info over text dangerous?

well i asked my dad to send me his card info so i can order pizza, i told him to call, but he texted and now im paranoid if its possible a phisher couldve taken that information… help!!

Possible, but not likely. The pizza place, as a business, has a secure system to take people’s credit card numbers, even if they are texted. If they didn’t, they be out of business. And even if a phisher did steal the number, your dad wouldn’t be responsible for fraudulent charges. Nothing to worry about it.
