Extending RS account with credit card at Paypal?

August 4th, 2016

I’ve been trying to extend my Rapidshare account, that I’ve had for 3 years, which expires in a few days. Originally I’ve been extending my account by using my debit credit card without using Paypal. Now I see that the only way I can use a credit card is to use Paypal. So I signed up with Paypal so I can use my debit credit card to pay for Rapidshare. After clicking on the Rapidshare Extend Account link using Paypal, I logged into Paypal and waited for a confirmation from Rapidshare about my account extension and got a message stating “Unfortunately your account was not accepted by Paypal.” I don’t understand why it wasn’t accepted? I inputted all the correct credit card info, my card balance is fine, and I made all the confirmations for the Paypal account. My account is active but my status says Unverified. Can anyone give helpful information about paying for my Rapidshare account with Paypal, or if there is another online bill pay site to pay RS with credit cards? Thanks in advance.

Yes, emailed both Paypal and Rapidshare and haven’t heard anything back yet.

How do you pay with debit card? Only option is “credit” card and pay pal.

It’s the same thing, Debit card you must have the money in your bank, credit card you don’t need it and you repay it later, when you get the bill.

Then I guess it’s a waiting game.
I transfer money directly from my bank account to PayPal. I can’t get a credit card and, at the time, my bank didn’t have debit cards. They do now, but I’m not changing.

aHHH ok, always saw people enter a code when using their debit card and wondered how that was done on-line. Guess you dont need code for debit card then.
